<h2>Installing AbiWord on BeOS / PPC</h2>
<p>The current version of AbiWord (0.7.9) should install and run properly
on any BeOS R4 system that has aPPC processor.
<p><i>Please note, this version of AbiWord is only provided in a ZIP file;
future versions will be provided in a more installation-friendly
format.</i>
<p>The ZIP file installation process is very simple.
<ol>
<li>Download the distribution files (<a href="http://www.abisource.com">
AbiSuite-0.7.9-ppc.zip </a>, 0.76MB).</li>
<li>Unzip the files into <tt>/boot/apps</tt>. This will create the directory
<tt>AbiSuite</tt>.</li>
<li>To run AbiWord, type <tt>/boot/apps/AbiSuite/bin/AbiWord </tt>.</li>
<li>Please consult the <a href="http://www.abisource.com">README</a>
file for additional details.</li>
