Align Text

When you align your text you arrange text or graphics relative to a margin. The default text alignment is left, which means that text is lined up along the left margin; right alignment lines up text along the right margin; centered alignment means that text is aligned around a midpoint; and justified alignment means that text lines up along both margins.

Let's set your alignment so that your text aligns up along the left margin by following these few simple steps:

Select the Left alignment button

Now let's change your alignment so that your text is flush with the right margin by following these basic instructions:

Justifying your text makes the text line up with both the left and right margins, creating a smooth edge on both sides. Let's apply this formatting to some of your text by following these few steps:
