Insert Page Numbers

Place page numbers on each page of your document to make it more functional, or help your readers follow your work. Page numbers can also add an interesting part to your overall design.

If you'd like to insert page numbers into your document, follow these two easy steps:

Position

First you must decide if you would like to have your page numbers displayed in the headers or footers in each page of your document. A header inserts in the top margin; a footer inserts in the bottom margin.

You may align your page numbers in the left or right margins as well as in the center of the page.
